Charles Edward Burk

September 23, 1925 - February 6, 2018

age 92 of Brook Park passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on February 06, 2018. Charles is preceded in death by Ruth J. (nee Isphording), his beloved wife of 55 years and his beloved parents Ezekiel and Virdie (nee Pullins) Burk. Charles is survived by Charles Jr. and John (Julie). Dearest brother of Helen (Paul) Stickley and Harold (Emma) (all deceased). Devoted grandfather to Michelle (Hassan), Maria (Chris), John and Neal. Great grandfather of Madeline, Burk, Wolfgang and Amira. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to many. Veteran of the U.S. Navy WWII.

The family gathered for private funeral services in celebration of Charles’ life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to American Heart Association, Cleveland Metro Office, 1689 E. 115th Street, Cleveland, OH 44106.
