Thompson, Carl W. age 83 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on January 20, 2011. He leaves behind Julia (nee Bauer), his beloved wife of 59 years. Loving father of Dianalyn (Eugene) Beno. Dear brother of Clara Howes, Dorothy Dowdle, and the following deceased: Harvey, Pete Osborne, and Leonard. Cherished grandfather of Constance (Robert), Gena (John), and Eugene Jr. Great grandfather of Sommer Lyn, Reanna, and Dante. Veteran US Army WWII & Korea. Member of American Legion Post 610, and 35 year Mason of Halcium Lodge.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Carl's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park OH, on Sunday from 2-5PM, and Monday 2-4 and 6-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
