Matheis, Carl, age 80 of Brunswick Hills, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2013. Carl is survived by Katherine, his beloved wife of 59 years. He leaves behind 4 children (1 deceased), 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Carl's life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road., Brook Park on Wednesday from 4-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held at 7:30PM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Dear Matheis Family, I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. Something that I have personally found to be of great comfort is what the Bible says at John 5:28,29 as well as Revelation 21:4. In these verses we see that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death.
