Mishenko, Betty L. (Nee Filbert) age 86 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2014; Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband Howard C.  Loving mother of Jeffrey A.(Michelle) Slack and John (Barbara); Cherished grandmother of Joshua, Matthew, Terah and Erin.  Great-grandmother of Damien and Luke.

 The family will receive friends in celebration of Betty’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, on Wednesday 6-8PM where Prayer Service will take place at 7:45PM.

Barnita Gerber left a message on June 1, 2014:
I am writing this for my mother Barnita Gerber.  She talked with Betty weekly until her brief stay at our local Nursing home for a compression fracture of the back in Feb.  Every week she would wonder how Betty was doing.  She talked with Stephanie but she hadn't heard from Betty either.  My mother will miss talking with her.  She was very kind and generous to my mother.  My mother will be unable to come to the funeral home due to her health.  So please except her deepest sympathy.  I also will miss my mother telling us of her conversation with Betty.
