Babal, Bernard J. age 78 of Brook Park, passed away suddenly on November 5, 2009. Beloved husband of Mary Louise (nee Nosko), his wife of 54 years. Son of Aloysius and Mary (both deceased). Loving father of John (Jennifer), and Michael (Patricia). Dear brother of Julia Salamon, Robert (Dorothy) and Aloysius (deceased). Cherished grandfather of Jason, Leah, Nicholas, Christopher, and Zachary. Great grandfather of Alex and Grant.
Combat Army Veteran-Korean War. Life member of VFW 6676. Avid Amateur Radio operator-W8VQV.
Bernie was a loving and generous man who was devoted to his family and friends. His sense of humor and zest for life will forever be missed.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Bernie's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park on Sunday from 1-6PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peter the Apostle Church, 6455 Engle Road, Brook Park on Monday at 9:30AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
