Barbara Louise Wonner (nee Wiemer)

February 18, 1949 - January 29, 2024

age 74 of Middleburg Heights, passed away peacefully with Family by her side on January 29,  2024.

Barbara is preceded in death by Charles, her beloved husband of 50 years.

Devoted Mother of Kimberly (Anthony) Calabrese, Kyle (Blair) and Kirk.

Loving Sister of Dennis, Sandy (Leon) Harry, and Patty Appleby.

Cherished Grandmother of Kylynn, Shaylnn, Danica, Leighton, Karmyn, Katrina, Landon, Kelsie, Kyle, James, and Kolson.

Beloved Aunt of many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.

There was never a dull moment when Barbara was around. Her outgoing personality was obvious to everyone around her, even strangers. She could have a conversation with anyone. Barbara had a soft spot in her heart for all animals, but she especially loved dogs. She would have had a house full of them if she could. She also loved all things nature, especially watching the hummingbirds at the feeder and identifying different kinds of flowers. Being an Aquarius, Barbara loved the water. She loved to swim in her backyard pool and lived for the competitive games of “pool volleyball” with the whole family. Her spunky and sassy personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

I've known Barb since our kids were little. She was personality Plus. My favorite memories were our Mexican lunches at Nuevo. Those always turned into a full day of laughing ,eating Queso and chips . Afterwards we would go to my place and continue chatting... We had scheduled a visit last week but she had a setback. I was hoping like all the other times it was a temporary situation. This time though she was ready to be with Chuck. My deepest condolences to Barbs family.
