age 82 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024.

Preceded in death by George L., her beloved husband of 49 years.

Devoted Mother of Yvonne (Jim) Wilson, George D., Bryan (Nadya), Darryl (deceased), and Jennifer.

Dear Sister of Carolyn (deceased), Roger (Donna) Lucas, and Sister-in-Law of Charlie and Lester (deceased).

Cherished Grandmother of Tyler, Helena, Ethan, Sarah, Christina, and Patrick; Great- Grandmother of Jaylen.

During the later year’s of Arleen’s life she enjoyed a renewal of her faith becoming an active member of Mary Queen of the Apostles Church. She took great care and delight in participating in a variety of church groups and making new friends. Through her battle against cancer over the last years of her life, she found great strength and peace by placing all her trust in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Arleen’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Thursday, September 26 from 4- 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Road, Brook Park on Friday, September 27 at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.

My grandma was a very strong, beautiful woman. We had many deep talks about life and I will miss hearing her wisdom. She was so happy to be a great-grandmother to my son and loved him so very much. I know how much joy he brought her this past year. May she rest in peace knowing her family loved her deeply & we will all miss her.

We will miss you so much. But we all know that you’re in a peaceful and loving place. As you always said to me, I am not afraid to leave this earth, because I am in Mary’s hand.

Arlene and I instantly connected at Mary Queen of the Apostle Church, Discovering Christ series. I’m am so glad we met and shared time together. Arlene you are in my prayers.

Arleen was a beautiful talented woman. May she rest in peace!
