Pugh, Anita R. (nee Hess), age 48 of Hacker Valley, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2013 while surrounded by her family. Anita is survived in death by Clifford R. her beloved husband of 14 years; Dear daughter to Walter Edward (deceased) and Betty Hess; Dear sister of Michael (Tracey) and Larry (Karen); Cherished aunt of Matt and Katie; Anita taught the 7th & 8th grade, and math for all grades at Hacker Valley Elementary and was a member of Holly River Baptist Church, WV.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Anita's life at HUMENIK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, on Monday, April 22nd from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 11AM at Abram Creek Baptist Church, 18664 Sheldon Rd., Brook Park. Interment at Woodvale Cemetery.

Anita was a special woman, friend and educator. She is going to be sorely missed by all that knew her. Rest in peace. We love you.
Anita was an inspiring educator who cared deeply for her students. Although we worked at different schools, her love of teaching was quite apparent. She will be greatly missed, but her family and friends should find comfort in the memories they have shared with such a wonderful person.

Anita touched all who knew her in a very special way. Her dedication to teaching and to her students was always apparent. She touched countless lives during the years she lived in Webster County. She will be greatly missed, but the wonderful memories will live on for many years to come.
Anita was a wonderful educator and a friend to her students. She was sweet, caring, and dedicated. Her legacy will live on in her students and she will be missed by many.
I played basketball with Anita at Midpark High School. Though we lost touch after graduation, I was sorry to hear of her passing. Sleep well Anita & I am sorry we got out of touch.
We have all been blessed to know Anita, as she was an excellent educator and a wonderful friend. She inspired greatness in countless children and was a delightful person. She will be deeply missed.
I was very touched to know and have Anita as one of my colleagues in teaching. Although I taught at a different school, I would see Anita at meetings or county fairs at my school. I was very blessed to have known her. She will always be remembered in our and HER Webster County. Please know how special she was to us.
my heart breaks for all the family,and friends..she was a wonderful person who gave so much to the kids .. she always had a smile and pushed through her day and never gave up. this little valley will never forget her or will anyone who knew her..i'm sorry to hear that she wont be coming back to us..and you havev my prayers that god will comfort you in this time of need.
