Nickel, Alfred T., age 83 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife, best friend and soul mate, Helen (nee Mychalishyn) of 57 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Walter Nickel. Loving father of Andrew and Michael. Dear brother of Dorothy Delenne, Elizabeth Coyle, and the following deceased: Raymond, Walter, and Sylvan. Cherished grandfather of Chelsea. Veteran US Army.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Alfred's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park OH, on Friday from 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM on Saturday at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Road, Brook Park. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Alfred's name to Hospice Services of Southwest General Hospital, 18659 Drake Road, Strongsville OH, 44136.
