age 85 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026.

Alan is survived in Life by Lillian, his beloved wife of 58 years.

Devoted Father of Michelle Kautz, Sheryl Kautz, and Valerie (Robert) Cervenak.

Loving Brother of Janet (Hank-deceased) Kuhr.

Cherished Grandfather of James Cervenak.

Dear Uncle to David (Michele) Kuhr and James (deceased) (Kathy) Kuhr.

Alan was a Mason for 63 years, he belonged to Denison Lodge # 640, Cleveland, and Quarry Lodge # 382, Berea, Ohio. He was a Master of the Denison Lodge # 640, 2 times and a Chaplain for over 40 years.

He always enjoyed breakfast with his Mason Brothers, and picnics in the park with his family.

Alan was a Boy Scout Leader, a volunteer Fireman for River Edge Trailer Park, and also volunteered for Meals on Wheels for 15 years.

Alan and Lillian loved to square dance together, he enjoyed watching Baseball and Football with friends and family.

He loved hiking and always loved going on cruises. Alan will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Alan’s life for a Funeral Service at Middleburg Heights Community United Church of Christ 7165 Big Creek Pkwy, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130 on Wednesday, August 12 at 11:00 AM. Followed by a Masonic Service.

Inurnment at Woodvale Cemetery.

Immediately following  Cemetery Services, everyone is cordially invited back to Middleburg Heights Community United Church of Christ to continue celebrating Alan’s life.
