William Michael Gonzalez – “GONZO”

age 53 of North Royalton, passed away suddenly September 24, 2021. Devoted son of Julio and Patricia (nee Tupa). Dear brother of Tony and Denise (John) Tummel. Uncle of Anthony, Amanda, Adam, Ryan. Great uncle to Anthony Jr.

Bill Graduated from Garfield Heights High School Class of 1986.  Afterward he attended and graduated from the Cleveland Police Academy.  Bill started his career as a Patrolman and retired as a Detective, proudly serving the City of Cleveland.  He was the former VP of Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association.  Bill loved his brothers in blue.

Bill enjoyed playing golf, traveling, spending time with friends, telling stories (nobody could tell a story like him), and he loved his Cleveland Indians. Bill was loved by many and a loyal friend to all.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday October 1, 2021 at 1:00pm followed by a prayer service at 1:30pm at the Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association. 1303 West 58th St. Cleveland, Ohio.
