James is survived in Life by Karen, his beloved wife of 54 years, and preceded in death by his loving parents, the late Edward and May Hlavaty.
Devoted Father of James (Rorie) Hlavaty.
Loving Brother of Edward Hlavaty Jr. (Margaret), both deceased.
Dear Brother-in-Law of Anthony Eckerfield.
Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.
James was a lifelong member of Mary Queen of the Apostles Church.
A Veteran in the United States Army.
The family will receive friends in celebration of James’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, 44142 on Saturday, January 17 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, where Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM. Immediately following, the Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery with Military honors.
