Obituary

William David Holtman age 85 of Brook Park passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on January 23, 2018. William is survived in life by Jean (Benden), his beloved wife of 67 years. Loving father of Diane (Dennis) Owens, Bob (Marie), Arlene (deceased), Linda, Karen (Paul) Lehman. Dear brother of Joan Bohrer. Devoted grandfather to Marla (Joe), Alissa (Tom), Jon (Sheryl), Jessica (Nate), PJ (Cara), Steven (Miranda), Mark (Michelle), Katrina, Anneliese (Aidan) and Shawn (deceased). Great grandfather of Caleb, Addison, Maylis, Ellyana, Kyleena, Nathan Jr., Tristan, AJ, Rhilyn, Parker and Corrine. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

 

Retired from the City of Brook Park as Building Commissioner after 24 years of faithful service. He was an avid sportsman who participated in Football, Baseball, Basketball, Golf and was a Golden Glove Boxer.

 

The family will receive friends in celebration of William’s  life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, 44142 on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of The Apostle Church, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park, 44142 on Monday at 9:30 AM.
