GOLLER
Goller, Vicki D (nee Cather), age 65 of Brook Park, passed away on April 15, 2015 while surrounded by family; She is survived in the life by Charles, her beloved husband of 45 years, and her three daughters April, Veronica, and Betty; She was the dear sister of Belinda, Duane, and Craig and the loving daughter of Howard and Lillian Cather; She adored her three grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kendra and Collin and loved being a part of their lives.
Her love of family was seen and felt by everyone that met her. No one that knew her has a bad word to say about her. She was always smiling and thinking of others. Her upbeat personality and positive attitude was in everything she did. Vicki loved the simple things in life; family, friends, trying new things and going on adventures big and small with her friends. She was a trekkie and was tickled to be able to have her picture taken on the bridge of the Enterprise. Vicki was an avid reader and was never seen without a book, and more often with piles of them around her.
She fought a 16 year battle with cancer as she was a tough lady who never gave up enjoying life. She was cheerful and never complained during the process except to mention how hot wigs are to wear. In the end, she opted for a cute pink hat instead. A week before she passed, her oncologist told her that things were really bad. Her response was to say that she “knew that, but it wouldn't keep her from smiling.” After this long battle, the Lord has called his angel home on April 15, 2015.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Vicki’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, on Sunday, from 2-5PM where Funeral Services will take place on Monday at 10AM. Interment at Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
