Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.
She was also a cherished cousin.
“Sandy, affectionately known by those closest to her as “Dusty,” and on fun days as “Miller Killer,”. She was a friend to all and never met a stranger.
Sandy had a gift for making everyone feel like family, especially her children’s friends, whom she loved as her own. Her home was always full of laughter, crafts, and the joyful chaos of grandchildren playing with Play-Doh or dyeing Easter eggs at the kitchen table.
She cherished time spent camping and traveling with her beloved husband, John. But her favorite moments were the simple ones—surrounded by friends and family, a beer in hand, singing off key, and soaking in the love of the people around her.
Sandy gave advice freely, loved deeply, and left everyone feeling just a little bit better after spending time with her. Her favorite saying, “Butter is Love,” was more than a motto—it was how she lived: generously, warmly, and with just the right amount of mischief.
In Sandy’s memory, we invite you to raise a glass, tell those around you that you love them, and sing off-key. That’s how she’d want to be remembered.”
