Russell Wayne Williams, born November 19, 1962, passed away surrounded by family who loved him deeply.
Russ graduated from Midpark High School in 1982 and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was known for his quiet strength, quick wit, and unwavering love for his children and grandchildren.
He is the son of Robert and the late Catherine Williams, and brother of the late Ralphie Williams.
Russ is survived in life by Lori, his beloved wife of 23 years. They were High School sweethearts and loved to travel.
Russ is also survived by his children, SSG Brandon Williams (Stephanie), Heather (Randy), Bobby (Michelle), Timothy (Ashley), Justin (Nicole), Chris (Mercedes), and Stephanie (Samuel). He was a proud grandfather to Timmy, PFC Dakota Andrews, Ava, Cole, Myles, Memphis, Jayson, Jonas, Maddie, Sophie, Skylar, Scarlett, Kirsten, Kylie, Lucas, Brooklyn, Harper, Kinsley, and Lincoln.
He is also survived by his siblings Bobby (Tammy), Rick (Caroline), Randy (Carrie), Kathy (Rob), Karrie (Tony), Rod (Tami), Krissy (Shawn), and Kim (Steve), who will miss his humor and the easy way he brought everyone together.
Russ’s life was rooted in loyalty, laughter, and family. His loved ones take comfort knowing he is reunited with those who went before him and that his spirit lives on in every story told and every smile he inspired.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Russ’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd. Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday, October 29 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Where Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
