age 89 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024.

Richard is preceded in death by Emma, his beloved wife of 60 years. His devoted parents John and Susie (nee Vanta) Mirola.

Devoted Father of Tammy Mirola-Rimstidt (James), Ronald (Sharon), and Dorothy Ann Dunn (deceased).

Loving Brother of Carol Schell (Ronald), Diane Mirola, and Janet (deceased) Brain (William).

Cherished Grandfather of Damon Dunn, Hannah (Talon) Bookless, Caleb (McKenna) Verzi-Rimstidt, Zachary Mirola; Great Grandfather of Sadie Verzi-Rimstidt.

Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.

Richard was a Veteran of the Korean War. He served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper in the 503rd 11th Airborne Division from 1954 to 1956.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Richard’s life at Grace Lutheran Church 13030 Madison Ave. Lakewood Ohio 44107 on Thursday, August 22 from 9:30-10:00 AM, where Funeral Services will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
