Patricia Ann Frohnapple (née Clough), age 89, of Brook Park, passed away peacefully at her home of 66 years, surrounded by her loving family, on December 20, 2025.
Patricia is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 44 years, Bernard Frohnapple; her parents, Albert and Mabel Clough (née Lanning); her loving sister, Janie Steincke; her sisters- and brothers-in-law, Marian (Hank) Brickman, Bernadette (William) Caine, and Sister Mary Ronald; her beautiful granddaughter, Hannah Frohnapple; her son-in-law, Robert Hrenko; her nephews, Jack Steincke and Ronald Brickman; her best bud, Caroline Fish; and numerous dear friends.
She was a devoted and loving mother to Deborah, John (Ayako “Judy” Iguchi), Michael (Danielle), Bernard J. (Nancy), Thomas (Cheryl), and Amy Klonowski (Eric).
Patricia was a cherished grandmother to Michael Hrenko, Tiffany (Fernando) Montes, Neil (Katie) Frohnapple, Amelia Stewart, Brandon (Lindsey) Frohnapple, Kyle (Emily) Frohnapple, Alex Chubokas, Julia (Joseph) Cartwright, Bernard Frohnapple III, and Sadie Frohnapple, and a proud great-grandmother to the apples of her eye: Sophia, Nora, Max, Luke, Hailey, Joey, Jack, Naomi, Clara, and Annie.
Patricia was also a sister-in-law to Jack Steincke, an aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a treasured friend to all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered for her strong faith, her love of gardening, the daily arrival of her beloved QVC packages, her never-ending love for her beloved United States of America, her excitement for family gatherings throughout the year, and her generous heart.
Even in her final days, Patricia continued to give—leaving her family the greatest gift of all: the peace and comfort of knowing she is now in Heaven, embraced by God’s eternal love.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia’s long and beautiful life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142, on Monday, December 29, from 4:00–8:00 PM, with funeral services held at 7:30 PM.
Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 30, at 10:15 AM.
