Michael is survived in Life by Katherine, his beloved wife of 57 years.
Devoted Father of Beth (Michael) Waffen, Erin (Brad) Steinhagen, and Michael.
Loving Brother of Katherine-deceased (Ronald) Seekings, and James-deceased.
Cherished Grandfather of Dylan Waffen, Anna Steinhagen, and Sara Steinhagen.
Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Michael is a former Police Officer of the City of Brook Park. He is a member of American Legion Post 610, FOP Lodge 15, Ohio Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, and D.A.R.E Officer.
Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Michael’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd Brook Park, 44142 on Wednesday, September 11th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church 5891 Ridge Road Parma Ohio 44129 on Thursday, September 12th at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
