Louis George Gobeille, Jr. 90, of Sanford and formerly Rocky River, OH, passed peacefully in Southern Pines, NC on Monday, August 26, 2024.
Born in Massachusetts, on June 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Louis and Pauline Koczor Gobeille. Louis earned his Bachelors’ Degree from UMass and went to start a career with Mobil Oil Co. In 1959 he married Rose Maslanka and started a family, until her passing in 1974. Lou’s career would move the family to Rocky River, OH and in 1975, he married Barb Gobeille. Lou retired in 1994 and relocated to Sanford, NC in 1995 where he and Barb enjoyed many rounds of Golf.
Lou was the husband of the late Rose and Barb Gobeille. He was the father of Bill Gagliardi, wife Lynn, Diane Byrd, husband Brian, and Gerard Gobeille, wife Marianne. He is also survived by his granddaughter Nicole Gagliardi.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Christopher’s Church 20141 Detroit Road Rocky River, on Tuesday, September 24^th at 11:00 AM. Inurnment at Lakewood Park Cemetery.
