Johnson, John J., age 67 of Brook Park, passed away suddenly on November 10, 2011. He is preceded in death by Kathleen, his beloved wife of 29 years. Proud father of John (Lorie) and Jennifer (deceased). Dear brother of Ruth (Tom) Pirog, Donald (Jackie), Margaret (Tim) McLaughlin, and Barbara (John) Proudman. Cherished grandfather of Corbin and Michael. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, and friend to many. Veteran US Army – VietNam.

The family will receive friends in celebration of John's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM, where Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Wednesday. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, the family suggests contributions to the Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Institutional Relations and Development, at University Hospital Health Systems, 11100 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland OH 44106.

Dear Johnson Family, I am so sorry for your loss please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I personally have found to be a great source of comfort is the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that there is going to be a resurrection of those who have died. Also at Revelation 21:4 we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow,pain and even death itself. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.
