Zima, E. Craig, age 47 of Brook Park, passed away suddenly on September 18, 2012. Craig is survived by Ernie and Elinor (nee Layton), his beloved parents; Loving father of Lauren and Jake; Husband of Roxsand (nee Layton); Dear brother of Todd (Heather); Cherished uncle of many.

The family will receive friends in celebration of Craig's life at the Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Road, Brook Park, on Thursday, September 20th from 2-5 and 6-9PM, where Funeral Services will be held at 10AM on Friday. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery

I was deeply saddened to hear about Craig. I can't even put to words how I feel. I looked upon him like a son too . Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers .

I look through the notices in the Plain Dealer daily hoping to not recognize any names on a daily basis. To see Craig's name there instantly made me 15 to 17 yrs old again (I'm 46). I hung out with Craig at the Rec Center, playing pick-up basketball, organized basketball, lifted weights next to him, played games in the game room in the Rec's basement and just laughed mostly at how funny he was. He was a goofball in the friend kind of way. To see his name at such a young age is sad! My thoughts and prayers go out to all who are related to him and all who knew and will miss him. I may not have seen him in close to 30 yrs, but that does not take away from the fact that he was once a good friend who made me laugh until I cried. My condolences to you all at this trying time.
