age 88 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025.
Chuck is preceded in death by Della, his beloved wife of 68 years.
Devoted Father of Linda (Dave) Nichols, Brenda (Tony Vans), and Charles (Dawn) Natola.
Loving Brother of Anthony (deceased), Ralph, Ethel (deceased) (John) (deceased) Zeager.
Cherished Grandfather of Brian (deceased) Nichols, Adam (deceased) Nichols, James Nichols, Justine Natola, Brittany Mcleod, Charles (Kirsten) Natola, and Dustin (deceased) Natola. Great Grandfather of Adam (Samatha) Nichols, Izayah Nichols, Wyatt Nichols, Noah Nichols, Grace Mcleod, and Ryan Mcleod. Great-Great-Grandfather of Atlanta Nichols and Aurora Nichols.
Chuck was a member of Black River Stamp Club, the American Philatelic Society, an Honorary member of VFW Post 610, American Carnival Glass Association, and Teamsters Local 407.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Some of his hobbies were stained glass, woodworking, painting, gardening, model airplanes, and Stamp & Coin Collecting.
Chuck loved the Cleveland Guardians, formally the Cleveland Indians, and was a huge Cavs fan.
He provided and lived for his family. He taught his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren how to fish. He loved going to all the kids Baseball and Basketball games. Chuck’s yard and garden were his pride. He also had a beautiful front porch where his friends, neighbors, and family would stop by for a visit. Snacks and stories were abundant.
His favorite holiday was Halloween, he enjoyed seeing all the kids in their costumes.
The family will receive friends in celebration of Chuck’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel 14200 Snow Rd., Brook Park, 44142 on Tuesday, October 7 from 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church 6455 Engle Road Brook Park Ohio 44142, on Wednesday, October 8th at 10:00 AM.
Chuck’s favorite color was orange. In memory of him, please feel free to wear orange.
