Stornes, Bill, age 80 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2014 while surrounded by family. Dear son of Nick Slone and Gracie (nee Smith); Bill is survived in life by Bernice (nee Mason) his beloved wife of 61 years; Loving father of Michael and Mark (Susan); Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Ryan, Scott and Meghan; Dedicated his time to helping Abram Creek Baptist Church and the church family and a host of close friends;
The family will receive friends in celebration of Bill’s life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, on Thursday October 16 from 4-8PM where a Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 11AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, the family suggests contributions to the Abram Creek Baptist Church parking lot fund.
