LONG AWAITED PARKING LOT EXPANSION UNDERWAY!

Attention big families and “hometown celebrities!” Humenik Funeral Chapel is your first call in celebrating the lives of those we love, and who have touched so many others. In addition to our impeccable service and attention to detail, our facility can accommodate more friends and family than any other funeral home in the area—and to do so comfortably. You may have seen our receiving line stanchions in use. Inside and out, our facility is the most people friendly in the business; keeping you cool in Summer, dry in Spring and Fall, and warm in Winter. What other funeral director would personally pour you a cup of cool water while you’re waiting to visit the family? None but ours. So
when you feel it’s time to make a choice, either pre-need or at the time of death, you can be confident that our family will treat you like family.

CHRISTMASTIME AT OGLEBAY

What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to spend a day at Oglebay. This holiday favorite is bigger and better than ever. In case you were with us on our last stop at Oglebay’s Festival of Lights, this trip will be much more than just looking at lights. Heck, you could do that just driving around the neighborhood, right? Join us for a day away from the neighborhood as we travel to Wheeling, WV for a fun-filled one day excursion.

Boarding will begin at the Humenik parking lot at 8:30AM Thursday December 5th. We will depart promptly at 9AM. The reason for the atypical “late” start, is that it is going to a long night. Once we make some headway down the road, we’ll stop off en route for lunch on your own.

After we check in at the Visitor’s Center, our first stop will be a tour of the Mansion Museum, “a journey into the past as we enter a treasure house full of antiques and history.” From there we’ll stop at the Hilltop Shops, you know the drill there, right? Next will be a visit to the Glass Museum. If we’re in luck, we may be able to catch some artisans at work. We’ll also experience the Winter Fantasy at the Good Zoo; a sight and sound extravaganza. Then we’ll head in to Wilson Lodge for the evening dinner show featuring One-A-Chord. This a capella quartet entertains with your favorite doo-wop and classic oldies, as well as with their impromptu humor.

Did we forget to mention the Festival of Lights? Our evening will be capped off with a guided tour through one of the largest Christmas Light displays in the region. All attractions of this great getaway will be yours for the all-inclusive price of $100 per person. Call a friend and sign-up today!
