Notes from our Families

I want to pass along some comments to you about the arrangements for my mother. My mother passed away February 24 while you were on vacation and her visitation was February 27. I must admit that I was apprehensive about how arrangements would be cared for in your absence. I spoke with Matt who told me [a covering funeral director] would be handling her arrangements. Well, long story short, [he], along with Mary Lou and Matt could not have been more informative and responsive to my questions.

You have two huge assets on your team, Mary Lou and Matt. I was so impressed with their caring and looking after things, things I didn't even think about. You have a beautiful funeral chapel which is run by excellent people. (and all those behind the scenes who made my mother look like the beautiful lady she was.) Many, many friends and relatives commented on your chapel; some had been there before. And, thank you, Joe, for the efficient and professional way in which you handled everything at our initial planning meeting.

Thank you so very much for all that you have done for our family, including giving us a "fireman's discount." We just know that our Dad really appreciated that. Everything at your place is first class! The general comment from everyone was that our Dad's funeral was "awesome," which is certainly not a typical response about a funeral, but we agreed. God bless you for treating the people that come to you like family. That means a lot to us, and to others that have been there! God Bless You Always!!!

Our family thanks you for the caring manner you conducted my husband's funeral. No matter what time or day death is very difficult. Our family has received many nice comments on my husband's funeral.
